For our founder Rebekah Harris, one summer kicked off with a little craniotomy. The best medicine for recovery was rest. and since our brains are like computers, she was prescribed naps to shut down and restart her mind several times a day. This translated sleeping on a cot in the back of the our former brick-and-mortar store. Every time she emerged from the room back into the store a bit foggy from the reset, it felt very Frankenstein. The stitches on her head really added to the entire effect as did feeling like a walking example of modern medicine.
The illustrator we work with, Dave Fox, happens to specialize in monsters so it was a no brainer (see what we did there?) to create this card. It's the perfect card for someone who's really going through it because laughter is another great medicine.
Cards are 5" x 5" and come with a fluorescent yellow envelope and a biodegradable clear protective sleeve.
