A perfect scaled miniature of the Montauk Lighthouse with darkened day stripe center. The Montauk Lighthouse is the 4th oldest lighthouse in the country. They were built to warn sailors of hazards and help them know their location. For non seafaring people they make great symbols to remind us to stay guided and strong in dark times. For our people that earn their living on the at sea, the lighthouse on the horizon means they made it home safely again.
