Simply put, the Ouroboros is about rebirth and renewal. On the shortest day of the year, the cycle of dark ends and the days begin to extend until we have the longest day of light a year. In the fall we plant bulbs in the earth that rise in the spring of the new year. We are all moving through a life of beginnings and endings the big ones and the small ones in the day to day.
